Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StreamStock, an inventory analytics and demand forecasting platform for Shopify merchants, operated at streamstock.io. By installing or using StreamStock, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
StreamStock provides inventory analytics, demand forecasting, and stock management tools for Shopify merchants. Features include sales trend analysis, ABC product classification, health scoring, dead stock detection, and automated restock recommendations.
2. Account & Registration
Your StreamStock account is created automatically when you install the application from the Shopify App Store. Each Shopify store corresponds to one StreamStock account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your store's connection to StreamStock.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use StreamStock only for legitimate inventory management and analytics purposes. You may not:
- Use automated scripts or bots to scrape data from the service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or Shopify's terms
- Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure or other users' access
- Resell or redistribute data or features obtained through the service
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of your data. StreamStock does not claim any ownership rights over your store data, product information, or sales history. We only process your data to provide the analytics and forecasting services described above.

5. Billing & Subscription
StreamStock offers a free tier with limited features. Paid subscription tiers are available and billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to the recurring charges.
- All prices are displayed in the application at the time of subscription
- Pricing may change with at least 30 days written notice
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the StreamStock platform. However:
- The service is provided on a best-effort basis with no formal SLA guarantees
- The service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, or improvements
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime
- We are not liable for any losses arising from service interruptions
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- By you — Uninstall the StreamStock app from your Shopify admin. This immediately ends your subscription.
- By us — We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or for any reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, all your data will be deleted within 48 hours in accordance with our GDPR compliance obligations. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Intellectual Property
StreamStock and its original content, features, algorithms, interface design, and functionality are owned by StreamStock and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the service does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service.
You retain all rights to your store data, product information, and any content you provide through the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. StreamStock does not warrant that forecasts, recommendations, or analytics will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- StreamStock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on forecasts or recommendations provided by the service
- We are not liable for any losses resulting from stockouts, overstock, or inventory decisions influenced by our analytics
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or via the email associated with your Shopify store. Continued use of StreamStock after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
